Autopoiesis und die infosomatische Wende: Eine biosoziotechnologische Perspektive
In the upcoming era where biological, social, and technological domains interplay, we should reframe the concept of Autopoiesis – initially used for biological systems – to navigate our increasingly distracting, media-saturated environment. The utilization of AI to form self-regulating systems could trigger an „infosomatic turn,“ transforming technology into an autonomous agent. Nonetheless, ethical stewardship in AI use is critical to ensure human authenticity and value alignment as we steer towards this Autopoiesis-imbued future. This transition impacts our work methodologies, economic structures, and our human potentiality, aiming to shift from an attention-intensive, allopoietic economy to an autopoietic society. In this transformation, technology becomes an enabling infrastructure, rather than a constant source of distraction, potentially fostering a more resilient civilization.
